Between Masterpiece Theater, Netflix and a few handsome gentlemen (Idris Elba, Aidan Turner, and Tom Hiddleston) I have fallen in love with several TV shows from the UK. So much so, that I’m even thinking of starting a blog series about some of my favorite British TV shows.
Some great TV shows have come out of the UK in recent years and a part of that success can be attributed to the stunning locations where the shows were filmed.
From the grand Highclere Castle, the backdrop of the period drama, Downton Abbey to the bustling streets of London that have been the set of many recent productions, such as Sherlock and Call the Midwife.
If the country is more your thing, you’ll love the beautiful rolling hills, windswept cliffs, and historic villages of Cornwall featured in Poldark.
If you wondering where some of your favorite UK TV shows are located, here is a handy guide that shows you each location.
