Three new movies hit the big screen this month, Something Borrowed, Jumping the Broom and Bridesmaids. We love weddings, wedding dresses, wedding cake and according to recent movie releases, Hollywood thinks we love wedding movies.

With Thor, Green Lantern and X-Men: First your local movie theater will be invaded by a horde of handsome men with super powers and super abs. This is the Super Summer of Comic Book Super Hero movies. Starting with the release of Thor, in May you can look forward to the men in your lives dragging you to theater to see at least one of these movies.As a public service for upcoming date nights, I will preview the Super Summer of Comic Book Super Hero movies and add my usual comments about possible chick flick elements in the storyline.

The ladies from Sex and the City are back on the big screen for a second time. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cyntha Nixon reprise their roles, as Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda in another sexy story, but this time the ‘city’ isn’t New York, but Abu Dhabi.

This is going to be a great summer for movies. If you like Romantic Comedies, Dramas, Sci-Fi or Action movies, you will have lots of movies to chose from, with all of your favorite stars releasing big movies in the next few months.
