I spend Christmas Day with Will Smith and Brad Pitt. Both actors released excellent movies. Even though they were completely different movies, Seven Pounds and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button had a few striking similarities.

Its Christmas Day. A day usually reserved for gift giving and spending time with your loved ones. Which makes it the perfect day for me to head to the movies. While you are at home unwrapping gifts and wondering what the heck your husband was thinking when he bought you a six slice toaster, I will be spending the day with Will Smith and Brad Pitt in a dark movie theater.

That question was answered after I saw the movie Australia, starring the oh sooooo rugged Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman. Jackman, who was recently chosen as People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive redefines rugged manliness as the character “The Drover” in his new movie directed by Baz Luhrman

The new Bond, Daniel Craig is non-stop action. He goes from one car chase, to another, crashing cars, exploding buildings all while wearing a tuxedo and romancing a beautiful woman. That’s why guys like James Bond. But what makes a James Bond movie a Chick Flick?
