Jennifer Aniston: Queen of the RomCom

Jennifer Aniston A recent survey by Ladbrokes Bingo showed that your favourite thing to do on a night in is…watch a film! We love RomComs and know that you do too, and there is one woman who we always watch in the latest romantic comedies; Jennifer Aniston.

Miss Aniston is our queen of RomComs because she is a fearless female who has been through it all and still looks amazing. She’s funny, emotive, gorgeous, and always super stylish.

Jennifer Aniston Movies

The Bounty Hunter saw her star opposite Gerard Butler (what more could you want?) in which he plays a bounty hunter who is hired to retrieve his ex-wife, played by Aniston, as she has skipped jail. Great for laughs and sexy people.

Aniston is however a jack-of-all-trades, and can make you cry as much as make you laugh. Marley & Me, in which she stars alongside two floppy haired blondes (Owen Wilson and the golden retriever playing Marley) will totally tug on your heart strings – it was named number 5 on the Top 20 Films that make Men Cry list.

Aniston is set to be in at least three new films over the next few years. In We’re The Millers, she plays a character named Rose. She is a member of a fake family put together by a veteran drug dealer while attempting to move a large shipment of marijuana from Mexico into the United States. This is another film in Aniston’s more controversial and hilarious roles, much like the domineering boss she played in Horrible Bosses.

Another film set to be released is a little known flick called Miss You Already. IMDB has stated the film follows “the friendship between two life-long girlfriends [who are] put to the test when one starts a family and the other falls ill.” Sounds like another classic Jennifer weepy!

Finally, a film going by the name of ‘Untitled Elmore Leonard Project‘ is set for release in 2014, though how prominent Aniston’s role is in the film is yet to be known. She will be staring alongside the likes of Isla Fisher, John Hawkes, Will Forte and Tim Robbins.

You Got to Have Friends

Friends-TV-showBut c’mon, what’s the main reason we all love Jennifer Aniston so much? Friends, of course! The show that turned her into a global legend is still loved by audiences in their millions, so is a reunion on the cards?

Well, with the ten year anniversary of the show ending, internet rumours have been circulating that there will be a thanksgiving reunion in 2014.

Unfortunately, all of the stars of the show have denied any kind of reunion show very heavily, saying they don’t want to ruin it for the fans. We’d still love one!

Until then, you can watch Friends: The Complete Series on DVD.
