Ryan Murphy, the man behind Nip/Tuck and the hugely popular TV show, Glee directs Julia Roberts in the chick flick of the year, Eat, Pray, Love . Based on the best-selling novel by Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love follows a recently divorce woman on her journey of discovery.
Julia Roberts plays Liz Gilbert, a woman living a dream life with a husband, a house, a successful career. Yet, something is missing. Feeling lost in the comfortable world she has built, a newly divorced Liz sets of to escape her world and embarks on a trip where she discovers the true pleasure of eating delicious food in Italy; the power of prayer and meditation in India, and finds the inner peace of true love in Bali. Eat, Pray, Love also stars Viola Davis, Javier Bardem and James Franco.

You’re right, it’s the “chick flick of the summer.” Looks like it will be lots of fun and the giveaway sounds neat too.
I am REALLY curious to see what you think of this movie. This is THE ultimate chick flick (but i will so be watching this anyway!)
I loved the book and am really looking forward to the fim – it’s not out here for another few weeks. Am curious to see how they fit it all into a couple of hours.
