I have to say I really enjoyed this one. I always have loved animation but this was ground making. James Cameron did something that has never been done by anyone else before. I went and saw this with my boyfriend and he loved it too. So Avatar I give you massive points.

The Na'vi and many Native American tribes, such as the Arapaho refer to themselves as "the people". Also they are similar in the religions are based on a reverence of nature and how it everything is connected. When Netiri preys over the savage pack of dogs that she killed, it is the same thing that Hawkeye does in Last of the Mohicans when he killed a deer. Thanking the animal for giving its life so that others may live. There was also the hairstyles, mastery of horses and war paint.

"The native population are called the Na’vi, and except for the fact that they are 9 foot tall, with blue stripped skin and a tail , they are very similar to Native Americans."

How so?

This is news to me. I had no idea I was being quoted in the Wall Street Journal. Regarding the term "blogress"? I assume Mr. Felton is using that to mean a female blogger. At least I hope so.

Howdy! Just saw that Eric Felten called you a "blogress" in the WSJ today, and I was wondering (because I'm about to blog about his use of the term, which is a new one on me)--what do you think? Have I missed your embrace of the label? Just curious!
