It is always nice to receive awards, so I was especially happy to receive one awards recently a fellow blogger. I met Andi when we were both participating in Darren Rowse’ 31 Days to Build A Better Blog challenge on Problogger.net. Our blogs are different, but our personalities and writing styles are so similar, that we clicked right away and she (or should I say her trip to France) was the inspiration for my “Vicarious Vacations” post. Andi has awarded me the Sisterhood Award.

- Sarah Linn at She Likes To Watch. Her movie reviews are great. She really know her movies and has some great opinions.
- Eliza Leigh, The Opinionated Ant and her humanoid translator. She always makes me laugh. And we share a mutual love of The Princess Bride. I didn’t know that mutant ants like to watch movies, but I have learned a lot about them for Miss Eliza. She is quite a little lady ant.
- Gwen at Daily Painting. Gwen and I have been friends for more than 20 years. Not giving away our ages. Let’s just say we were toddlers and leave it at that. Any, she is the sister I never had and has really encouraged me to keep on writing, even when I am sure she was the only one reading my blog. She is a natural born artist and I wish she would paint me (but with Halle Berry’s face…and body…you may as well throw in the cute boyfriend too)
Its raining buckets here in Dallas, which is really crazy weather for June. So I will be spending the weekend at the movie theater, which means more movie reviews are coming.
