My faves on your list are: Danielle De Barbarac, Margo Channing and Thelma & Louise. Missing? The unforgettable Miranda Priestly from "The Devil Wears Prada". Although she was hardly a sweet, young thing looking for love, Ms. Streep kicked butt (and is great in just about everything!). And I absolutely cannot forget Carrie-Ann Moss as Trinity in "The Matrix" trilogy. Obviously not a chick but she made a huge difference in that movie! Oh, one last addition (which is a lie, because I'm sure that I'll think of several more! lol) - Audrey Tatou in "Amelie". She was so adorable in that role.
