Slumdog Millionaire
If you missed this movie at the theater, please rent it and see why Slumdog Millionaire won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
A simple story about young man who grew up in the slums of Mumbai and becomes a contestant on the Indian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. It is also the survival story of two brothers, who become orphans at a very young age. The story of the endurance and faithfulness of first love and so much more.
Seven Pounds
Will Smith and Rosario Dawson star in the tear-jerker, about one man’s search for redemption. Smith character Ben Thomas tries to make for the deaths he caused in an automobile accident because he was checking his Blackberry. The movie asks an interesting question, at least to me. Can you make up for mistakes you’ve made in the past? Can you give you live to save another person’s life? Who can choose which lives are worth saving?
