I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Doubt but am very excited. My favourite Meryll's include, Out of Africa and Sophie's Choice. She blows my mind. I completely agree that she can master any genre and any character, but I was slightly disappointed by Mamma Mia. I preferred her in other comedies like The Devil Wears Prada and A Prairie Home Companion. And I can't forget performaces like Aunt Josephine in Lemony Snickett's A Series of Unfortunate Events and all her characters in the Angels in America mini-series.
