I definitely vote 'rugged' over the 'pretty boy'. Some of my favorites? Robert Redford in 'The Horse Whisperer' and Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday in 'Tombstone' (YUMMY!) and what about Daniel Day Lewis in 'Gangs of New York"?? (WOW). I am sure there are so many more that I cannot think of at the moment but the whole 'Old West Cowboy' persona always gets me! One of my favorite dialogues from Tombstone...
