This is the first post of my blog, so you should know a few things about me. First of all, I LOVE movies, especially old movies. Movies starring great actresses like Kathryn Hepburn, Bette Davis, Barbara Streisand. Romantic comedies with Meg Ryan or Sandra Bullock. You name it. I love movies, especially what is commonly know as the “Chick Flick“.

A Chick Flick can be many things. As many thing as there are woman who watch movies. Anything from a movie featuring strong female roles, like Susan Saradon and Geena Davis in Thema & Louise or Bette Davis getting ready for bumpy night in All About Eve to a movie featuring your favorite Hollywood hunk, like Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan in a James Bond film. Staying home to watch a sad movie in your PJ’s, going out with your girlfriends for a Ladies Night at the Movies or date night. The definition is limitless.

And that’s what I want to explore, the world of the CHICK FLICK.
